The Culture of Encounter Project - Georgetown University

Born in the United Kingdom, with a background in law and mediation, Sarah Bernstein has worked in the field of peacebuilding and shared society work since 2000, specializing in interreligious dialogue, and has directed the Rossing Center for Education and Dialogue since 2013. She was awarded her Ph.D. in peace and reconciliation studies by Coventry University in England for her thesis on the theme of "Narratives of Belonging: Life Stories of Jewish-Israeli Women in Jerusalem." Bernstein sat on the Alliance for Peacebuilding Global Advisory Council on Effective Interreligious Peacebuilding and was a founding Board member of the International Association of Spiritual Care.
