Odeliya Matter is the program assistant for Middle East policy at the Friends Committee on National Legislation (FCNL). In 2022, Odeliya co-founded Negev Media, an organization promoting representational and solution-based media regarding the Arab Bedouin in Israel and the world. Matter is a teaching fellow with the Forum for Regional Thinking, a think tank aiming to bring about change in the way the Israeli public perceives the Middle East, encouraging critical thought and a complex discourse about the region. She’s taught hundreds of Israeli youth courses on the conflict and occupation, bringing a robust syllabus on Israeli-Palestinian history and relations from a perspective unavailable through the Israeli education system.
